However when the day comes, most couples have always found it not as they envisioned it to be and have therefore always opted for second best. But, a wedding can be rewarding if you consider the following tips for organizing and actualizing your perfect wedding :

1. Visualize your wedding

Sitting down together with your fiancée or partner and imagining the general outlook of your wedding is important. With one of you jotting down the salient points, you can “draw a diagram” of the picture of your wedding, generally from the church service to reception and extension, if there will be any. This will give you a sense of direction and collect all the thoughts that you’ve both had since you were little.

Most folks organizing their weddings make the greatest mistake when they choose not to plan early for the auspicious occasion. Doing this in a hurry creates too much anxiety and some of the important items are always left out, including booking the minister early before he is fully booked and therefore no space for you, getting the venue in time before fully booked or missing some items that are out of season by the time you need them.

Moreover if you have enough money you can now engage the wedding planning firm or you can get your friends to help you plan the reception and other issues if you are working on a stringent budget.

Most wedding planning, as advised, should begin a minimum of a year prior to the actual wedding day.

After a tedious planning exercise it would be a great disservice if on the actual day things are done differently. Of course flexibility is allowed, but ensuring that strictly the wedding goes according to plan will be much fulfilling.
